Online giving

Let people give one-time or monthly on your own giving page, from meetings and OBN Watch. Givers get an email receipt. Paystack (paystack.com) takes naira cards, bank transfer and USSD; Stripe (stripe.com) takes cards worldwide. Paste the secret key from the provider's Settings → API Keys. Leave the "Default giving link" above empty to use this.

For monthly gifts, add this webhook address in the provider's dashboard (Paystack: Settings → API Keys & Webhooks; Stripe: Developers → Webhooks, events invoice.paid and checkout.session.completed):

Sign in with Oneway TV

Let Oneway TV members host meetings with their onewaytv.com account — no second password. They join as Members: they host their own meetings, but can't broadcast on OBN Watch or change settings. Upload meet-sso.php to your website and paste the secret below into meet-sso-config.php next to it (see OBN-Meet/website/README.md).

Members (Oneway TV accounts)

What Oneway TV members can do in their own meetings. Staff and administrators can always record and stream. Members can never broadcast on OBN Watch.

Phone dial-in

Let people join meetings from any phone, with no internet. Uses Twilio: buy a phone number there, set its “A call comes in” webhook to (HTTP POST), then enter the number and your Twilio Auth Token here. Works once this server is online with HTTPS.

Email

Used for invitations, reminders, meeting notes, prayer alerts and password resets. Use the SMTP details from your email provider (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, your web host, or a sending service).

Text messages (SMS)

Let people sign up on the service calendar with a phone number and get reminders by text. Uses Termii (Nigeria): create an account, register a sender ID (e.g. ONEWAYTV), then paste your API key. Choose “DND” if your sender ID is approved for numbers on Do-Not-Disturb.

AI Companion

Live captions and translation, “catch me up”, meeting notes and sermon tools. Paste an API key from console.anthropic.com (pay as you go). Leave it empty to keep AI off.

Video storage

Keep replays and old recordings in a storage bucket (Linode Object Storage, or any S3-compatible bucket) instead of on this server. In Linode: Object Storage → Create Bucket, then Access Keys → Create Access Key (give it read/write to that bucket). Replays on OBN Watch are prepared in 360p, 540p and 720p, so viewers on weak connections keep playing.

Off-site backup: every night the database, shared files and any new recordings are copied to the bucket (kept 30 days). Back up now

Server health

Administrators get an email if the server restarts unexpectedly, the disk is nearly full, or a backup fails. To be told when the server is completely down, create a free monitor at uptimerobot.com (HTTP(s), every 5 minutes) for with your email or phone.

Produce in StreamPort (or any encoder such as OBS or vMix) and show it live on OBN Watch. In StreamPort choose the OBN Watch destination, or add a custom RTMP destination with the server and key below.

Big audiences

For services with more than a few hundred viewers, put a CDN (content delivery network) in front of OBN Watch. Create a “pull zone” at a CDN such as Bunny.net with this server as its origin (), then paste the CDN address here. Viewers then load the live video from the CDN, not from this server.
